Old Doctor Butler's Head is closed to the public on Saturdays and Sundays - meaning our City of London pub can be hired entirely for private functions throughout the weekend.
Pubs with function rooms in Moorgate don’t come much more historic or atmospheric than the Old Doctor Butler’s Head - where 400 years of hospitality has taught us how to hold a special event in style.
From birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries to business meetings and seminars, we’re able to host all kinds of functions in a number of exceptional private-hire spaces.
Our London pub function spaces
Our first-floor restaurant, with seating for 40 guests, is a great option for intimate gatherings. Meanwhile, for events with a larger guestlist, we also have a separate function room that caters for up to 100 people (80 seated).
The function room is regularly used for parties, quizzes and karaoke, as well as formal dining. If you’re using the room for business not pleasure, we can also provide all the necessary audio visual and conferencing equipment.
